currying favour (Helichrysum italicum)

This one was a Seaford survivor. It thrived over the Winter, and it’s silver foliage brightened up the little bed, that would eventually be replaced by a big brick planter. In the Spring it was soon covered by yellow flowers.

The Hebes too, were perfectly happy there, and even somehow the clematis montana managed to keep itself alive, though the builders would soon thwart its plans for survival!
